The Banners represent the duality of light and dark. Within the temple they are not only barriers for the Eastern and Western parts of the temple, but battery points along which the light can travel.
The Banner of the East has a white field supporting a cross, the Tau of Life and the Hexagram (the red triangle of fire and the blue triangle of water).
The Banner of the West has a black field, supporting a red cross bordered with gold, inside the triangle.
Both banners are 40 x 45cm (16" x 18") with embroidered/appliqued symbols, with 5 red tassels and are suspended from gold coloured bars.
These are hand made, to order.
